Rob’s tree theme explores an inexhaustible well of ideas springing from observation and inspiration of our natural environment and surrounds. There is always a new way to express this though creative investigation of possibilities, the what ifs, the pursuit and challenge of "that could never work" .

Similarly each sculptural light structure evolves from a desire to probe, to push the bounds of materials, geometry and workable assembly solutions. The juxtaposition, the investigation of new concepts through physical materials and the physical constraints of manual fabrication. These light sculptures are hand made, not mass produced.
